Welcome to Science and Technology. This lesson is for you. We will start from what you know, then try something new, then check that it makes sense. We meet the idea and see why it matters. The heart of this lesson is Health and hygiene.

In about 40 minutes we will: (1) say hello and warm up, (2) learn the new idea with examples, (3) practise together, (4) try it on our own, (5) check we understood, (6) pack away and celebrate.

Health and hygiene is something we can notice in the world. We ask: What do I see? What happens if I try this safely? Science is careful looking, not guessing only. We record what we find in words or a drawing. Let’s walk through Health and hygiene slowly for Grade 6 Science and Technology. Step A — Notice: what can we see, hear, or touch that belongs to this idea? A pencil, an exercise book, and a quiet place to sit. Safe objects from home or the yard: a leaf, a cup of water, a stone.

Ask: “Teach me Health and hygiene as if I never went to school.” Listen without jumping in. If the explanation is wobbly, try one smaller example together. A short, calm practice after sadza is better than a long, tired argument.
