Welcome to Mathematics. This lesson is for you. We will start from what you know, then try something new, then check that it makes sense. We are taught the idea with examples we can touch or tell. The heart of this lesson is Addition of fractions.

Teach it
Addition of fractions is a maths idea we use in real life, not only in a book. First we look, touch or draw. Then we use numbers or shapes to tell what we see. We go slowly. If a step feels hard, we try a smaller number or a simpler picture, then grow.
